Data controller

What data we process

Device data: random installation ID, device code and PIN, a hash of the device key, a hash of the hardware identifier (used only to prevent repeated free trials), device model, OS and app version, language, registration and last-connection dates.

Playlist data added by the user: names, playlist and EPG URLs, server address, Xtream Codes username and password (the password is stored encrypted).

Subscription data: trial and subscription validity, the activation code used, for Google Play purchases — a hash of the purchase token, order ID and expiry date, and for payments on the website — Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment amount and date (we never receive card details).

IP address — only temporarily, in server memory, for abuse protection (attempt limits), and in technical server logs.

What we do NOT do

We do not create user accounts and do not collect names, e-mail addresses or phone numbers (unless you write to us). The e-mail address and payment details used when paying on the website are entered directly on the Stripe payment page and stored by Stripe; our server does not store them.

We do not track what you watch. We use no analytics, no ads and no tracking cookies.

Security and abuse prevention — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Accounting obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Cookies

The website uses strictly necessary cookies only: kyvotv_session (device code sign-in session) and kyvotv_lang (selected language). No consent is required.

Recipients and retention

Data is stored by the hosting provider running the service. For in-app purchases we verify the purchase token with Google (Google Play Developer API). Payments on the website are handled by the payment processor Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland): Stripe receives the data you enter on its payment page (e.g. card details, e-mail address) and processes it to carry out the payment, also in accordance with its own privacy policy; we receive only the payment status and amount and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.

Device and playlist data is kept while you use the service; you can delete playlists at any time on “My playlists”. On request we delete the whole device. Billing data is kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
